Moderator requirementsPlease be aware that there are very strict criteria in place for moderators here and that not all who ask are necessarily moderator material. The requirements to be a moderator are given below:
Section 1: Requirements for applicants- You must have a comprehensive knowledge of the various styles of RP used on IMVU, and you must be able to demonstrate this knowledge.
- You also must have some technical understanding of how forums generally work: enough to post and navigate at the very least.
- You must have access to, or use, an IMVU account which is over two years old.
- You must have a minimum of 1,000 posts in the old forums. When the old forums close, there will be a different requirement in place of this one.
- Your avatar name must be owned, i.e no Guest_ tag.
- In addition to owning your name, you must have AP and AV if you wish to moderate the AP forum.
- You must be over 18 at the very least, but preferably you should be over 21.
- You must be unbiased, and have a relatively good record of helping others in the old forums or these forums.
- Developing, artistic and similar skills are not required, but they are desirable.
Section 2: How to applyModerator applications should be sent directly to the Forum Administrator via forum PM. Note that your application will be discussed with other moderators to ensure that it is all above board. This will allow moderators an opportunity to discuss prospective moderators and ultimately figure out if they are right for the job or not.
Moderators are recruited on a requirement basis, meaning that moderators applications will only be open when new moderators are required.
